Everyone loved Dave Matthews Band at some point, right? Well, I did mainly because my dad listened to them all the time when I was in middle school. My great friend just requested that I make a poster for the song “Dreamgirl” by DMB, and I couldn’t be more excited to take on the challenge.
Here’s a refresher of the song, and the music video featuring Julia Roberts.
If you have a song in mind, submit it to the blog and I’ll make a poster for ya!

I’m just gonna stop counting at this point. But I’ve made around 25 posters for the Creative Juice Project! Take a look at all of them and see the progression. I started the project using Gimp - a free open source photo editing software. I’m now strictly using Illustrator. I love this program! You can definitely see the shift in quality.
This is a poster representing the album “My Aim Is True” by Elvis Costello.

I recently took a day trip to Middleburg, VA, a quaint Revolutionary War era town. It was all decorated for christmas time, and I could just imagine the rolling hills blanketed in white snow. Here’s my interpretation of that. Happy Holidays!
Also, please take the time to vote for the poster I made for the Obama Campaign! I am one of 12 finalist and need your vote to win! If I do, the poster will be sold in the campaign store :) Here’s the link: Estelle’s Poster!

#23 in the Creative Juice Project! I thought it might be funny to illustrate Kanye West in an innocent way. What better way than a cute little monster. The song is “Monster” off the album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.

I’ve started a sub-category for the Creative Juice Project in which I make a poster that represents the style, ideology, or aesthetic of an entire band or musician. My first poster was inspired by St. Vincent. This one, is inspired by Arcade Fire, a band who is heavily involved with Partners in Health and rebuilding Haiti. This Haitian Proverb is often seen posted in duct tape across Win Butler’s acoustic guitar.

AMAZING NEWS!
Hey followers!
Recently, I submitted a poster design for Barack Obama’s 2012 Campaign. I knew it would be a long shot, but thought if there was a wee chance of being selected as a finalist, that would be really cool, and would make all of my graphic design aspirations worth it! Well,
DRUM ROLL PLEASE……
I WAS SELECTED AS ONE OF 12 FINALIST IN THE WORLD (or just country).
My entry will be up for vote at www.barackobama.com/artworks
In case you didn’t know, my name is Estelle Caswell, so please vote for the submission under that name. It will be titled “The White House is on Main Street” and will be illustrated with little colorful houses with the White House in the middle. You can’t miss it!
PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, VOTE. ON NOV. 28, 2011
There are no excuses. If you don’t support Obama, don’t worry, this isn’t necessarily showing support, he’ll have a poster anyway. It might as well be mine.
Again,
Thanks so much for your help. Please spread the word!
